Drawing his inspiration largely from various shred guitarists, metal bands, and forms of classical music, Jason Aaron Wood has always aimed to push the limits of his playing, while still keeping his music very melodic and dark. His personal musical philosophy places top priority on creating powerful, emotional, and expressive melodies, while using speed and flash as a way to add intensity, rather than as the primary focus.

Jason has played previously with atmospheric metal band Rain Fell Within, as well as progressive metal band Ephemeral Sun, and is currently the guitarist of the atmospheric, Celtic-, World-, and Folk-music-infused doom metal band Todesbonden, and is also founder, composer, and guitarist in his own band, Ol Sonuf.
