In addition to their low-quality guitars and many unprofessional and unethical business practices, Wintersong Guitars has now begun a smear campaign against me on MySpace, using libelous and harassing Blog and Bulletin posts, and sending friend requests to everyone on my friends list, in order to cover up the poor quality of their products and services after adamantly refusing to issue a refund and pay return shipping for the utterly defective "Barbarian" guitar I received earlier this month.
While MySpace Abuse has already deleted these posts four times, as well as the Wintersong Guitars MySpace account itself for multiple offenses, Wintersong Guitars has immediately reposted this libelous each time, and has now devoted their home page to slandering me, claiming that despite my resignation on September 1, 2009 due to my own unwillingness to support a company that doesn't stand behind its products, I was supposedly "kicked off of Wintersong Guitars."
In my defense, while waiting for further action from MySpace Abuse, I have created a special webpage exposing the falsehood of Wintersong Guitars' libelous posts, with screenshots from the actual correspondence between Wintersong and myself, and a video demo (above) of the "Barbarian" guitar and its biggest defect: the strings are choked on most of the upper frets by a poorly designed pickup installation, rendering nearly half of the guitar's range unplayable.
To further add insult to injury, Wintersong Guitars then took this same video, edited out the choking frets, and then after so much effort to announce that I was "kicked off" their roster, proceeded to post a video of ME, featuring my name, image, and music, to PROMOTE their product, and has kept me on their MySpace Top Friends throughout this ordeal. Additionally, Wintersong created an imposter profile of me on YouTube.com, with the account name "JasonAaronWood". If you are contacted by this user, know that it is not me, but Wintersong Guitars, who has now also posted some of my personal financial records and my home address on Wintersong's website home page.

Later that week, they will share the stage with metal veterans Moonspell and Samael on Friday, October 16, 2009 at Jaxx in West Springfield, VA. The show is ALL AGES! Band News:
Todesbonden is excited to be performing two shows later this week, at The Back Bar in Janesville, WI on Friday night, and at the Flight of the Valkyries 3 Festival at Station 4 in St. Paul, MN on Saturday. Jason has also begun to further develop much of the material written for his solo-band, Ol Sonuf, and aims to release "While Rome Burns" by mid-2010.
Teaching and Lessons:
Jason has been working diligently to develop and expand the scope and reach of his guitar teaching, and is in the planning stages of setting up several local group classes and guitar clinics in the Maryland/DC/Virginia region, in addition to his one-on-one lessons. Additionally, Jason has also begun creating several video lessons, which are currently being filmed and edited, and should be available soon.
