New Music Preview & ShredMentor Update

Although things seem to have been quiet here lately, I've actually been working non-stop over the past few months developing quite a few new facets to ShredMentor Rock Guitar Academy so I can reach more people and help them play the guitar the way they want. With a lot of that finally coming together nicely, I've finally begun working on some music for my next solo album. Here is a short video of a clip of me playing the intro to a new song (check below it for a Soundcloud link to what the full track became!)

First Book Published: The Book of Sequences

I'm extremely excited to announce that I have published my first book today! My new book, The Book of Sequences, is a culmination of 4 years of continual study, application & hands-on teaching experience of Themes and Sequences. The book comprises many aspects of my own playing vocabulary, but is written so that any guitarist (and really any musician who plays any instrument) can use it. I'll also be bringing copies to the 4th Annual Guitar and Bass Expo on Saturday, August 19th.

Labyrinth of Dreams & Glass Idols Leaving Distribution

Through no decision of my own, and much to my dismay, Jason Aaron Wood 'Labyrinth of Dreams' and Ol Sonuf 'Glass Idols' will be removed from all major distribution outlets in the near future. This includes iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, etc. Apparently this is Reverbnation's way of thanking me for 3 years of giving them business — the moment my subscription ended, they set out to undo my work. Both albums will remain available on Bandcamp, so be sure to get your copies there!

INTEX Cables Pedalboard Upgrade + Project Updates

INTEX cables pedalboard upgrade
With the Ol Sonuf Glass Idols album completed and released, in between ironing out some details in some new guest solos and getting back to work on the upcoming Todesbonden material, I've begun the quest to upgrade my whole pedalboard to INTEX cables. Just knowing how muffled normal cables are, I can't WAIT to hear how clear this thing finally sounds hooked up with the real deal.
